By using this website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to use it for fraudulent or unlawful activities; gain unauthorized access to systems, servers, or accounts; interfere with website security or operation; upload malware; scrape content without authorization; impersonate another person; intentionally provide false information; circumvent security/payment/fraud-prevention controls; or otherwise violate applicable law.

ALTR Beauty offers skincare, lip care, body care, beauty essentials, beauty packs, and related products. We make reasonable efforts to accurately display product names, descriptions, sizes and quantities, ingredients where provided, images, colors, prices, and availability. Product packaging, labeling, appearance, ingredients, formulations, or other details may occasionally change. Colors displayed digitally may vary depending on screen settings, photography, lighting, and device characteristics.

Beauty, skincare, lip care, and body care products may produce different results for different individuals. Results may depend on skin type, frequency of use, personal routines, environmental conditions, individual sensitivities, and other products being used. ALTR Beauty does not guarantee any particular cosmetic or appearance-related result. Reviews, testimonials, photographs, or individual customer experiences should not be interpreted as guarantees that another customer will achieve the same result.

Customers are responsible for reviewing available product descriptions, ingredient information, directions, and warnings before use. Individuals with known allergies or sensitivities should carefully review applicable ingredient information. Where appropriate, customers may wish to perform a small patch test before applying a new cosmetic or skincare product more broadly. Discontinue use if irritation, discomfort, or an unexpected reaction occurs and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary. ALTR Beauty products and website content are intended for general cosmetic and informational purposes and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or replace professional medical advice.

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance. We reserve the right, where reasonably necessary, to accept or decline an order, cancel an order, limit quantities, request additional information, verify billing/shipping/payment details, or refuse transactions reasonably identified as potentially fraudulent or unauthorized. If an order is cancelled after payment has been successfully collected, an applicable refund will generally be issued to the original payment method.

Prices are displayed in the currency identified on the website or during checkout. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that pricing and product information are accurate. However, typographical, technical, pricing, or listing errors may occasionally occur. Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to correct obvious errors and cancel affected orders. Prices, promotions, discounts, products, and availability may change without prior notice. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, duties, or other costs may be calculated separately and displayed at checkout.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available during checkout. Payments may be processed by independent third-party payment providers. By submitting payment information, you represent that the information is accurate, you are authorized to use the selected payment method, and you authorize applicable charges associated with your purchase. We may use payment-verification and fraud-prevention systems to protect customers and our business. ALTR Beauty generally does not directly store complete payment card numbers.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Shipping and delivery timeframes are estimates only unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, holidays, incorrect addresses, transportation disruptions, customs processing, government restrictions, natural disasters, or other unexpected events. Additional shipping terms are provided in our Shipping Policy.

Customers should carefully review shipping details before placing an order. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing, fulfillment, or shipping. Additional shipping costs caused by incorrect or incomplete customer-provided information may be the customer’s responsibility where permitted by law.

Returns, refunds, damaged products, replacements, and other post-purchase matters are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Customers should review that policy before completing a purchase. Nothing in these Terms or our Refund & Return Policy is intended to restrict mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

ALTR Beauty may occasionally offer discount codes, promotional offers, beauty packs, bundles, giveaways, sales, complimentary products, or other special offers. Unless otherwise stated, promotions may not be combined, usage limits may apply, certain products may be excluded, promotions may have expiration dates, and promotional benefits have no cash value. We reserve the right to cancel transactions involving fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive use of promotions.

Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login information, providing accurate account information, restricting unauthorized access, and informing us of suspected unauthorized account activity. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Customers may be permitted to submit reviews, photographs, comments, feedback, or other content. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, infringes intellectual property rights, contains malicious code, is threatening/abusive/defamatory/harassing, or violates another person’s privacy or legal rights. By voluntarily submitting content for public display, you grant ALTR Beauty and ALTER INC. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute that content in connection with our website, products, and marketing, subject to applicable law. You retain ownership of your original content.

Content appearing on the ALTR Beauty website, including brand names, logos, product names, product photography, graphics, website design, written content, product descriptions, videos, icons, layouts, and marketing materials, is owned by, licensed to, or otherwise lawfully used by ALTR Beauty and/or ALTER INC., unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, republish, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected content without appropriate permission.

Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including payment providers, shipping carriers, social media platforms, analytics services, and marketing services. Third-party services operate independently from ALTR Beauty. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain a reliable website but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Website services may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates, technical issues, security measures, service provider outages, or operational requirements. We may temporarily suspend, modify, or discontinue portions of the website where reasonably necessary.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Except for warranties that cannot legally be excluded, we do not guarantee that the website will operate without interruption, every product will be suitable for every individual, individual cosmetic results will meet expectations, or website information will always be completely error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ALTR Beauty and ALTER INC. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or relating to use or inability to use the website, unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control, third-party services, shipping delays outside our reasonable control, improper or unintended use of products, or individual cosmetic/beauty results. Nothing in this section excludes liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALTR Beauty, ALTER INC., and their respective owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and service providers from reasonable claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, violation of another person’s rights, or fraudulent activity associated with your account.

ALTR Beauty will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform obligations resulting from circumstances reasonably outside our control. Examples may include natural disasters, severe weather, fires, carrier disruptions, transportation interruptions, infrastructure failures, internet outages, government actions, labour disruptions, supply-chain disruptions, or public emergencies.

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, retain, protect, and disclose personal information.

These Terms and disputes arising from or relating to the ALTR Beauty website or services will be governed by the applicable laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to products or services, website functionality, business practices, or applicable laws or requirements. When changes are made, the Last Updated date will be revised. Continued use of the website following an update constitutes acceptance of revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
